Design story
The site is a steep ledge above the Costa Brava. The house does not stand on the cliff; it lies along it, in three horizontal strata that step back from the sea.
White render holds the light, and deep timber shutters hold the shade. The rooms open south toward the water, while a narrow stair runs along the rock face at the back of the plan.
Every floor ends in a terrace that feels like a shelf of the cliff itself, so the boundary between the house and the coast stays deliberately unclear.
